We are a dog-friendly tourist attraction. Dogs are welcome in most of our areas as long as they are kept on a lead and under control at all times. On our trains, dogs must not sit on seats and must be kept on the floor.

Assistance dogs are welcome throughout.

Please be aware that the Alford Valley Community Railway does not permit smoking or vaping on any of its train services or within any of its buildings.

In the interests of safety and security, please be aware that we DO NOT allow any public access to our storage sheds, workshops or onto the track/lineside. All customers must remain on the platforms and other specified public access areas at all times. Any person(s) found to be in breach of these rules may be asked to leave the railway.
